For Employers & Recruiters

Experienced business judgment. Hands-on AI implementation.

If you are hiring for AI implementation, marketing operations, CRM or business systems, here is what I bring to a team: I walk into unclear situations, figure out what is really going on, organize the work, use AI and digital tools where they help, and drive projects to results people actually use.

Below: the career that built that judgment, the tools I work in every day, and the roles this experience fits.

Experience

The career behind the work I do today.

The progression matters: business ownership and sales, then marketing and communication, then IT and application development environments, then organizational marketing leadership, then generative AI beginning in 2023 and multi-tool AI implementation beginning in early 2026. AI did not replace that career. It amplified a business, marketing and technology foundation that already existed.

What I can own inside your team

  • AI implementation and adoption
  • AI evaluation and quality assurance
  • Marketing operations
  • CRM and sales operations
  • Workflow and process improvement
  • Business systems
  • Research and synthesis
  • Implementation project leadership
  • Training and documentation

Tools are the easy part. The harder part is judging which problem deserves which tool, and whether the result holds up once people depend on it. The tools I work in appear with the roles below, where I actually used them.

2024 to Present Mark Stiles Marketing, LLC

Principal: AI implementation, marketing operations and business systems

Current, hands-on client work. I handle the whole engagement myself: research, workflow and system design, the build, documentation, evaluation and handover.

  • CRM improvement: scored read-only audits, task and renewal structures, activity logging, follow-up workflow design
  • Marketing operations: websites, content systems, SEO, GA4 and Search Console reporting, lead capture and conversion paths
  • Automation and workflow systems connecting the tools a business already runs on
  • Research, evaluation, implementation planning, training and documentation on every engagement

Featured Implementation CRM and sales system rebuild

A read-only audit that became a working sales system

A regional client’s CRM had more than 400 overdue activities and an initial health score of 47 out of 100. I built the scoring framework, rebuilt the task and renewal structure, restored dated activity across 16+ accounts and designed the weekly call-priority workflow. The health score reached 86 out of 100, with 101 renewal tasks activated.

The client’s salespeople made the calls: 12 verified sales conversations and 6 booked follow-up appointments came from their outreach. My system surfaced and prioritized which accounts deserved attention first. I later walked approximately 50 sales executives through the framework live at a Washtenaw Business Association event.

2023 to Present Generative AI practice

Approximately three years of sustained, working use of generative AI

In 2023 I began actively using ChatGPT: sustained research, testing, prompt and instruction development, output evaluation and workflow experimentation, learning how generative AI could extend experienced human business judgment. In early 2026 I began working deeply with Claude and expanded into additional AI, automation and production tools, increasingly combining them:

  • Reducing repetitive work, saving time and cutting operating cost
  • Improving research, analysis and business decision support
  • Improving CRM processes and designing sales prioritization systems
  • Creating websites and digital systems, and automating repeatable tasks
  • Connecting forms, analytics, content, delivery and follow-up
  • Building and operating three distinct sales and marketing ecosystems with these tools

2017 to 2024 Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists

Director of Marketing & Events / Senior Marketing Strategist

Seven years of marketing and events leadership inside a physical therapy organization. The organization grew from six locations to twelve during that time, and my responsibility was making sure marketing, communication and digital systems could support the growth.

  • Built and managed four or more digital properties
  • Created approximately 500 videos
  • Owned digital strategy, communications, media, events, recruiting support, public relations and patient storytelling
  • Coordinated across leadership, clinicians, administrative teams, vendors, agencies, media partners and community organizations
Approximately three years i2Integration and Unique Streak Web Development

IT and application development environments

Approximately three years inside IT and application development businesses. At i2Integration (2014 to 2016) I handled technical business development: web applications, custom development, systems integration, single sign-on and mobile solutions, translating requirements between developers, technical leadership and business stakeholders. At Unique Streak Web Development I worked inside a web application development business alongside its technical team.

I am not a software engineer. What that period built is fluency on both sides of the conversation between technical teams and the business paying for the work.

Three years Lansing Community College

Institutional marketing

Three years working in marketing for Lansing Community College: institutional marketing, communication, public-facing work and stakeholder coordination inside a large organization. It is where I learned to move marketing work through an institution rather than around it.

1992 / 1995 to Present Business ownership

Three decades of operating a real business

Three Men and a Tenor formed as a performing group in 1992. When the group became a full-time professional act in 1995, Grayling Filler Productions was formed to operate the business, and my formal business ownership began. For the last 31 years I have served that business not only as a performer appearing on stage before thousands of people, but in leadership responsibilities including President, Marketing Director and Business Manager: sales, booking, marketing, promotions, contracts, customer relationships, media, websites, merchandising, partnerships, audience development and business operations. In 2025 the operating business continued as Three Men and a Tenor, LLC.

Along the way I founded The Impression Professionals digital marketing agency in 2009 and Mark Stiles Marketing in 2024. Business ownership since 1995 means I have spent decades on the side of the table where the money is actually being spent.
